Poem Body:
The more I looked at you, the uglier you got.
How is that for a twist in the plot?
I don't know how I let myself get caught.
In the end, that mattered not.
The beauty on the outside dimmed & faded.
By a personality which is hateful & shaded.
This is not what I had anticipated.
Causing my heart to be locked & gated.
You live your life by the lies you tell.
You don't even realize that you fell.
You speak ill of those you don't know well.
Thinking you can escape at the toll of the bell.
